BEST, WORST & FAVOURITE
BEST
Mode: Manual
WB: Cloudy
Shutter Speed: 1/160
Aperture: 6.3
ISO: 5000
This is my best shot because the lighting is very good, and I also used the rule of thirds. Even thought this photo was set up and the couple was posing, they are looking at each other, which gives the sense that the photo is a candid shot. The rule of third allows the photo to be more interesting, rather than just having the couple centered in the middle of the photo. The boy is also leaning on a tree, which gives an extra component to the photo, rather than just a simple hugging position. Overall, I think that this was my best shot because there is more than one component to the entire photo, which adds depth to the photo, rather than just having a simple pose.

WORST
Mode: Manual
WB: Cloudy
Shutter Speed: 1/160
Aperture: 36
ISO: 5000
I feel that this shot is my worst because it is an action shot, and it is not focused. The most difficult thing about taking action shots is the timing, and if it is not timed right, the subjects will be off focus. This is exactly what happened here. I managed to get both subjects within the shot, but it is definitely off focus. The photo is also darker than all the other photos because the subjects are moving, resulting in a smaller aperture. I learned that taking actions require a lot of practice, especially without having to use continuous shots and sorting through hundreds of photos to find the right one. Timing is extremely important, and I hope to improve that even more as I develope more skills in taking action photography.

FAVOURITE
Mode: Manual
WB: Cloudy
Shutter Speed: 1/80
Aperture: 5
ISO: 5000
This is one of my best shots, and it is also my favourite because the shot utilizes a prop. I feel that props can always be used to fit in with the theme, and can also make the photo more dynamic and have a more interesting aspect, rather than just having the subject. I tried to make this photo more playful by having the couple peek at each other on each side in front of the bell. By having them pose like this, I have created a more dynamic photo rather than having the couple do a simple and boring pose. Overall, I feel that photography can sometimes have a playful side to them, and can always have props. This is especially true when it comes to couple photography because it can show the couple's personality, rather than just having simple poses of smiling, hugging, or lying down.
